Hello! I’m Yabaewah Scott (pronounced Ya-bay-wa) and I’m an award-winning illustrator and creative based in the UK represented by The Plum Agency.

I’ve worked with publishers including Penguin Ladybird and HarperCollins, creating illustrations for children’s books and educational projects.

My work combines illustration with visual storytelling creating warm, character-led imagery inspired by the small moments that make life joyful.

I’m currently available for creating narrative-driven illustration, commissioned projects and brand collaborations.

Personal life

I’m currently based in London in the UK

These days when I get the time, I love playing a little bullet-hell videogame. The current fixation is Vampire Survivors but eventually I’ll go back to the classic, Risk of Rain (Top 10 soundtrack in my unprofessional opinion).

I’m always on the look out for sweet treats that I can turn into cat illustrations and I’m dreaming of the day I have an allotment or garden to grow pumpkins.
